Zero Suicide Summit 5 Postponed to Summer 2022
Due to the upsurge of COVID19 cases around the world, RI International, the Zero Suicide Alliance and SAVE have made the difficult decision to postpone the Zero Suicide Summit 5 planned for Liverpool, UK to summer 2022. As you are aware, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) continue to recommend travel restrictions and limiting assemblies of groups. The safety of you, the delegates of the summit, and our teams are of the utmost importance. Therefore, it is our hope that the postponement will allow us to safely reconvene and that the restrictions on travel and assembly will be eased.
If you have already registered, your place is guaranteed for our new date. The planning team is actively working with our key partners and vendors to confirm details and we will announce the new date in the coming months. Please stay tuned for further updates, and if you have any questions or concerns please contact Karen.Jones@riinternational.com.
About the Summit
Leaders from countries around the world came together in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in September 2018 for Zero Suicide International 4. As a result, the 2018 International Declaration was produced along with the video complement, The Zero Suicide Healthcare Call to Action. During the fifth international summit, our goal is to identify the three next key steps through inspiration, ideation, and implementation.
